We have been working on creating a yard we can use year-round and in the desert that isn't easy.  We have had our share of misses but have also found some real gems.  Here are a few we love.

We have these lights wrapped around the trunks of two large palm trees.  Really fun to change the colors depending on the season or the holiday.

Okay, I know these look crazy, but they are really cool!  These are solar alarms that alert you when someone crosses a certain point, maybe a walkway or gate. We have these and love getting the heads up that someone is approaching the house.  Would also be a great gift for someone elderly that might not be tech savvy enough to work a system like Ring or Blink.
